Jollibee is Macdonald of Philippines.
Surprisingly, It's much popular than Macdonald. When I lived in the Philippines, I used to go there three times a week. Because the price is cheaper than Macdonald, and tastes are good same as Macdonalds. Both are bad our health though kk

なんとフィリピンではマクドナルドよりも、ジョリビーの方が圧倒的に人気です。私もフィリピンに住んでいた時は週に3回は通っていました。味はマクドナルドとそう変わらないのですが、値段がかなり安いです。そしてどちらも、あまり健康には良くありません 笑

下記の薄気味悪い笑みを浮かべるキャラクターが、マスコットキャラクタです。フィリピン留学をした人達の間で謎のブームでした。フィリピンのユニクロではジョリビーTシャツなるものが売られており、留学生がお土産によく買っていました。

The other day, I went to Jollibee in Winnipeg. It's located near Polo park which is the biggest shopping mall in Winnipeg.
先日、ウィニペグのジョリビーに行ってまいりました。場所はウィニペグ最大のショッピングモール、ポロパークの近くです。
On my way to Jollibee, I got lose my way, asking a couple of people walking on the street. No one knew the place, much less knew Jollibee itself. It seems little-known in Winnipeg.
道中迷い、数人の通行人に訪ねたのですが、場所はおろかジョリビーの存在自体を知らないと言われてしまいました。ウィニペグでの知名度は高くない様です。

There are jam-packed with Phillipinos in the store. Conversation with Cebuano language which is spoken in Cebu city makes me feel nostalgic.
店内はフィリピン人でめっさ混んでました。セブアノ語での会話が、私をノスタルジックな気分にさせます。ああ懐かしきセブ。
I ordered my favorite Palabok which is one of the Philippines's traditional dishes.
お気に入りであるパラボックを注文しました。フィリピンの伝統料理です。
The taste was completely same as Philippines's. But the price was a little expensive.
味は本場フィリピンと同じでしたが、値段は多少高かったですね。
